Why now: Dark chocolate brings iron and magnesium — and yes, a period craving can be met with something genuinely good for you.

Ingredients

  • 150g dark chocolate (70%+)
  • Handful freeze-dried or fresh berries
  • 2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • Pinch flaky salt

Method

  1. 1Melt the chocolate gently and spread thin on a lined tray.
  2. 2Scatter over berries, seeds and a little salt.
  3. 3Chill until set, then snap into shards.
